How to Make the Hit the Road Dude AI Video
You do not need to edit, keyframe or match audio by hand. One photo and three choices are enough — the dialogue direction and camera moves are already in the template.
Upload one photo, choose Human or Pet, pick a scene, and generate. The template supplies the dialogue timing and camera moves, so you get an 11-second clip in about three minutes with no editing.

Step 1 — Upload one clear photo
Use a front-facing photo with good light and a single face. Avoid sunglasses, heavy shadows, or anything covering the face. The clearer the photo, the more the finished clip looks like you rather than a generic face.
If you are doing a pet version, use a photo where the animal’s face and markings are visible. Pet results vary more from run to run, so a sharp photo matters even more.
Step 2 — Choose Human or Pet
Human keeps your face and outfit and starts at an 11-second clip. Pet is tuned for dogs and cats: it keeps their fur, ears and markings and places them upright in the driver’s seat, paws on the wheel.
Then pick a scene. The six scenes share the same beats — notice, pause, dismiss — but change the setting: white pickup, fishing pond, driveway, back road, farm gate, camo truck.
Step 3 — Generate and download
Choose your resolution and render. When it finishes, download the MP4. There is no timeline to trim and no watermark to remove.
The lines your video needs
If you are writing your own direction or checking a render, these are the beats the clip has to hit:
“Who told you to fish here?” → “I thought it was state property.” → “State?” → “This?” → “State? It ain’t. Hit the road, dude. This ain’t no state property. It’s private property.”
The pause before “State?” is the joke. If a render rushes it, regenerate.
Common mistakes
- Blurry or angled photo — the face drifts and the likeness fails.
- No pause on “State?” — the punchline disappears.
- Wrong aspect ratio — vertical is what the feed expects; check before you post.
- Keeping the AI voice over the original — most good versions re-lay the real audio so the words match the mouth.
